      1. Outlines/Features of Research Here we describe novel fluorogenic substrate, Ps-TG, selective for Pi-class glutathione S-transferase (GSTP1), overexpressed in various types of cancers. Ps-TAc, a membrane permeable derivative of Ps-TG, enables the detection of GSTP1 activity in living cells.
      2. Expected Applications Since GSTP1 is overexpressed in abberant crypt foci (ACF), a putative pre-neoplastic lesions for colon cancer, as well as various types of cancers, Ps-TAc can be helpful in pathological diagnosis of GSTP1-overexpressed cancer cells during surgery.
